Injectable treatments for hyperhidrosis usually lasts between 6 and 8 months. After which time, a repeat treatment is necessary to maintain results.
Injectables are suitable for many patients, though, during your consultation, Dr Injibar will check your medical history to be sure that there are no contraindications for treatment. Injectables should be avoided if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
There is little downtime associated with injectable treatments. Most patients can return to normal immediately after treatment.
Patients may experience redness, tenderness, swelling or itching in the treatment areas as a result of the injections. However, this will subside within a few days. More serious side effects should be seen to by a medical professional as soon as possible.
