Hyperhidrosis (Excessive Sweating) Treatment2020-03-14T18:49:53+00:00

Everybody sweats. Sweating is a natural body function that helps us stay cool when we are in danger of overheating. However, if your sweating is becoming excessive, or you are sweating when you do not need to, you may be suffering from hyperhidrosis. Hyperhidrosis can be embarrassing for sufferers to live with, especially if even prescription deodorants fail to keep the affected area dry.

What does the treatment do?

Fortunately, at Dermasurge, we offer hyperhidrosis excessive sweating treatment for reducing excessive sweating, allowing patients to live an ordinary life free of unsightly damp patches. The use of some popular medical drugs for antiaging solutions or tightening sagging skin is well documented, but what patients may not realise is how effective such drugs also can be at treating hyperhidrosis. Treatments to blocks the nerve impulses to the sweat glands, preventing them from producing sweat until the effects wear off can be done after a thorough consultation with Dr Hiba, our resident consultant dermatologist at Dermasurge Clinic

At Dermasurge, all aesthetic treatments, including hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) treatments, are performed by consultant dermatologist Dr Hiba Injibar. Prior to treatment patients are required to undergo an in-depth consultation so that a detailed, bespoke treatment plan may be agreed upon.
