Cosmelan Peel

Discover the wonders of Cosmelan Peel, London’s premier solution to rejuvenate and brighten your skin. This cutting-edge treatment effectively addresses various skin pigmentation issues, offering you a path to renewed confidence.

Cosmelan Peel is more than just a skin treatment; it’s a revolution in skincare. Designed to target all forms of pigmentation, from sun damage to melasma, this peel is your answer to a clearer, more radiant complexion.

The Cosmelan Peel is generally suitable for a broad range of skin types, making it a versatile option for many individuals. The ideal candidate for this treatment is someone who is experiencing pigmentation issues, such as melasma, chloasma, sun damage, freckles, and dark spots. It is particularly effective for those who haven’t had success with other pigmentation treatments. However, as with any skin treatment, individuals need to consult with a skincare professional to ensure that it’s the right choice for their specific skin type and condition.

The Cosmelan Peel is a versatile and effective treatment for various skin pigmentation conditions.

  • Hormone-Induced Pigmentation: Effectively treats conditions like melasma and chloasma, which are often linked to hormonal changes.
  • Superficial Pigmentation: Ideal for addressing issues such as sun damage, which can lead to uneven skin tone.
  • Freckles: Helps reduce the appearance of freckles, offering a more uniform skin complexion.
  • Dark Spots: Targets and diminishes the visibility of dark spots, enhancing overall skin clarity and radiance.

By targeting these various types of skin discolourations, the Cosmelan Peel helps in achieving an even, brighter skin tone, making it a sought-after choice for those seeking comprehensive pigmentation treatment.

Prices for Cosmelan peel

Full face £1000

To undergo the treatment, you’ll require one session that includes both a preparatory peel and the Cosmelan Depigmentation Peel, conducted by a skilled professional. The cost for this single session is set at £1000, which also encompasses a homecare kit containing three products.

The Cosmelan® treatment is structured in two phases:

In-Clinic Treatment: This initial phase occurs at the salon, where a skincare professional applies a highly effective depigmenting mask. This session marks the beginning of the skin’s transformation.

At-Home Care: After the in-clinic treatments, the process extends to home care. Under the guidance and recommendations of the aesthetic professional, the patient follows a specific regimen involving the application of the home kit.  This phase is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the results achieved in the clinic, ensuring ongoing depigmentation and addressing the core causes for enduring effects.

What results can you expect from a Cosmelan peel?

With Cosmelan Peel, you can typically expect to see initial results within a few days to a week after the treatment. The skin often starts showing signs of lightening and an overall more even tone. The full effect of the treatment, with a significant reduction in pigmentation and a clearer complexion, generally becomes more apparent over the following weeks and months. The rate at which results appear can vary based on individual skin types and the severity of the pigmentation issues being addressed.

Aside from its primary effect on reducing skin pigmentation, the Cosmelan Peel offers additional benefits, including:

  • Improved Skin Texture: The treatment can lead to smoother skin texture, making the skin feel softer and more rejuvenated.
  • Reduction in Acne and Oiliness: It can help in managing acne and reducing oiliness in some cases.
  • Enhanced Overall Skin Tone: The peel contributes to a more balanced and uniform skin tone, beyond just targeting dark spots.
  • Skin Rejuvenation: It promotes the renewal of skin cells, leading to a fresher, more youthful appearance.

These added benefits contribute to the overall appeal of the Cosmelan Peel as a comprehensive skin care treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much downtime will I need?2020-01-24T18:09:43+00:00

The amount of downtime will depend on the strength of the peel. At Dermasurge, we recommend embracing longer periods of downtime in favour of more effective, long-lasting treatments where necessary. During the consultation process, Dr Hiba will be able to fully advise patients on how much downtime to expect but is usually between 3-7 days. Patients should avoid sunlight as the skin heals.

Are they any side effects?2020-01-24T18:11:38+00:00

Common side effects of chemical peels include flaking, peeling, redness, tenderness or stinging in the treatment area. This should subside as the skin begins to heal.

How soon will I see results, and how long will they last?2020-01-24T18:14:11+00:00

This will depend on the type of peel used during treatment, and results may take between one week and 3 months to become fully evident, depending on the length of downtime. Patients may need repeat or top-up treatment every six months. Dr Hiba will recommend an at-home skincare regime to help prolong the effects of chemical peel treatments.

Peter, Surrey

“As my skin is aging, Dr. Hiba is helping me improve and maintain the texture of my skin in ways that are very natural looking and age appropriate. Dr. Hiba is so professional and took the time to explain the process and ensured she wouldn’t freeze my face.
