Full face £1000
To undergo the treatment, you’ll require one session that includes both a preparatory peel and the Cosmelan Depigmentation Peel, conducted by a skilled professional. The cost for this single session is set at £1000, which also encompasses a homecare kit containing three products.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE PROCEDURE?
The Cosmelan® treatment is structured in two phases:
At-Home Care: After the in-clinic treatments, the process extends to home care. Under the guidance and recommendations of the aesthetic professional, the patient follows a specific regimen involving the application of the home kit. This phase is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the results achieved in the clinic, ensuring ongoing depigmentation and addressing the core causes for enduring effects.

Cosmelan Peel treatment steps
The Cosmelan treatment plan begins with a complimentary consultation where your skin is assessed, and the procedure is explained in detail. If you prefer or require a consultation with a doctor, an additional charge of £150 applies.
Step 1: One Pre peel creams are given.
- This needs to be used at least 2 weeks before starting the pre peel/actual peel mask.
- Down payment £150 from the full package taken (patients can choose to pay the full amount)
Step 2: Application x Melanostop pre-peel
- Done in the clinic.
- Done 2 weeks after using preparation creams.
- To prepare the skin for the Cosmelan 1 mask peel
- Done 24h-48h before the actual mask.
- 15 min appointment
Step 3: 1x Cosmelan 1 peel mask done in the clinic.
- Done in the clinic.
- To be left for 8-12 hours before being washed off.
- Remaining payment if not paid the full amount.
- 30 min appointment
- The skin turns red the next day and peels for around 7 days.
Step 4: 1x home creams kit
- Application of daily topical treatment Cosmelan 2 cream
- To be applied daily after 72 hours post-peel
- Each home cream kit lasts approx. 4-8weeks/ can be purchased again after finished.
- Should be used for up to 1 year post-procedure.
2 x free follow-up appointments (included in the price)
- One week after peel – virtual follow-up consultation (15 min appointment)
- 6 weeks after the actual peel– in-clinic follow-up (15 min appointment)

Frequently Asked Questions
The amount of downtime will depend on the strength of the peel. At Dermasurge, we recommend embracing longer periods of downtime in favour of more effective, long-lasting treatments where necessary. During the consultation process, Dr Hiba will be able to fully advise patients on how much downtime to expect but is usually between 3-7 days. Patients should avoid sunlight as the skin heals.
Common side effects of chemical peels include flaking, peeling, redness, tenderness or stinging in the treatment area. This should subside as the skin begins to heal.
This will depend on the type of peel used during treatment, and results may take between one week and 3 months to become fully evident, depending on the length of downtime. Patients may need repeat or top-up treatment every six months. Dr Hiba will recommend an at-home skincare regime to help prolong the effects of chemical peel treatments.
