A droopy nose is, simply put, when the tip of the nose naturally point downwards. This is medically known as nasal tip ptosis, and may be more obvious when smiling or frowning. More often than not, a drooping nose tip is a result of natural issues, and can be caused by irregular structure in the nose, such as an elongated septum or nasal bridge, or else the presence of more cartilage that is needed. However, in other cases, a droopy nose is the result of the weakening of connective tissues within the area, usually because of the ageing process or previous surgical procedures.
