Education and Training
Dr Hiba’s studied at The American University of Beirut, gaining her bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology in 1992. From here, she attended medical school, graduating in 1996, and embarked on an internship in paediatrics. It was in 1997 that her passion for the skin was sparked, as she embarked on three years of intensive residency training in dermatology. Dr Hiba became a fully registered dermatologist in 2000 and receiving sub-speciality training with an emphasis in laser dermatologic surgery from a fellowship programme at the Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery the following year. “You already feel special walking down the most prestegious street for private health care in the UK, Harley Street. Number 121 is vintage and welcoming. The lift to the clinic on the third floor is the type you see in old romantic movies. Then there was the surprise! You walk into this modern space , beautifully decorated and super clean. You’re welcomed by Veronica and Elvira. They make you feel really special and pampered. Dr Hiba is lovely and meticulous. She took her time to assess my needs and explain the proposed treatments. One of the pigments on my face was a bit irregular, Dr Hiba thought it was benign but she also took a picture and consulted with an international group of dermascopy specialists, they replied within minutes and thankfully they concurred.
The treatment room is ultramodern and Dr Hiba was attentive and totally focused on my comfort.
She explained the after care very well, gave me some samples to help healing and recommended some products.
